We started Team George in 2005 after our son George was diagnosed with a heart defect at one month old. He has Supravalvular Aortic Stenosis and Peripheral Pulmonary Stenosis. George underwent open heart surgery in December, 2004, and continues to undergo tests and treatments.
We know how important funding for research is--without it, George would not have been able to have the surgery that saved his life.
Everyone knows someone who is affected by heart disease!
If you have high blood pressure, you have heart disease--George does, and he takes a pill every day to help keep it lower.
